Citizen of the Year

Congratulations to Dr.Gloria Clarke for being named Citizen of the Year by the Atlanta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi. Dr. Clarke received the honor during the annual awards program held at the Airport Marriott on November 9, 2014. Prominent attorney, civil rights leader and Atlanta native Vernon Jordan served as keynote speaker. Dr. Clarke was recognized for her Atlanta’s Dental Angels, a day of free dentistry at her Southwest Atlanta Greenbriar Dental Care. Now going into it’s 6th year Atlanta’s Dental Angels Day has provided free dental care to more than 500 people.
In addition Dr. Clarke volunteers every month at the Ben Massell free dental clinic in Atlanta. Dr. Clarke says “I’m honored that the men of Omega selected me for this prestigious award”.
